Plan your pickup and delivery
Ask whether the same crew will unload and how delivery timing fits your building’s receiving hours.
Start with one complete inventory. Include large furniture, approximate box counts, fragile pieces, and heavy items. Tell the coordinator about stairs, elevator reservations, gated access, and where the truck can stop at both addresses.
Build a route-specific budget
Request a written estimate for your actual shipment and service needs. Ask what is included, which conditions can change the estimate, and how storage or access arrangements are priced. A route name alone cannot establish the cost or delivery date.
Open the budget planner →Keep the delivery window practical
Discuss your earliest available delivery date, building receiving hours, and the company’s delivery window. Carry the essentials you will need while your belongings are in transit, and keep your paperwork and coordinator’s contact details accessible.
Ask before booking
- Who will transport and deliver the shipment?
- Which access arrangements have been included?
- How will inventory changes affect the estimate?
- When will updates and payment requests arrive?
