This Privacy Policy describes information handled through ReviewMyMover, including reviews, quote requests, company applications, reports, contact inquiries, and location-based browsing. ReviewMyMover is a business-operated directory associated with the operator of Home Run Van Lines.
Information you provide
Customer reviews include your submitted name, star rating, move size, pickup and delivery states, written experience, and optional photos. Quote requests include your name, email, phone number, move size, states, date preference, selected company, and contact consent. Company applications include representative and company details, operating numbers, address, contact details, website, truck count, and years in business. Contact inquiries contain your name, reply email, topic, and message. Review reports include a selected reason and any details you provide.
Public reviews and private inquiries
Reviews, reviewer names, move details, uploaded review photos, and attributed source snapshots are public. Quote requests, business applications, contact inquiries, and review reports are stored for the site administrator in the private admin portal. Submitting a business application does not publish its contents. Avoid including sensitive documents, payment information, home addresses, or another person’s private details in public reviews or photos.
How we use information
We use submissions to display and calculate ratings, respond to inquiries, follow up on moving requests, review business applications, moderate content, handle reports, and operate and protect the website. Quote contact details are used for the moving inquiry you submit. Contact inquiries are used to respond to your message.
Approximate location and technical information
The hosting service may provide an approximate country and state derived from your IP address so we can suggest nearby company reviews. This feature does not request precise GPS location and does not save your IP address or detected location in the site’s inquiry records. You can choose a state manually. Hosting and security providers may process technical request information, such as network addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the service.
Browser storage and sign-in
To help prevent duplicate reviews for the same company, we store a salted hash derived from a network address and use an ownership cookie to recognize the browser that submitted the review. Raw IP addresses are not stored in review records. The ownership cookie lasts up to one year and is needed to replace an existing review from that browser. Saved movers and checklist progress use local browser storage on your device. Clear your browser’s site data to remove these saved preferences. Public review and inquiry forms do not require email or SMS verification. Admin access uses ChatGPT sign-in and trusted identity information to check the site owner’s access; hosting or authentication services may use cookies or similar technologies for their functions.
Service providers and disclosures
Hosting, storage, and authentication providers process information as needed to operate the site. Private form submissions are not published in the directory or exposed through public review feeds. The administrator may use the information to respond to your request, handle a report, or meet a legal obligation. This website does not implement advertising trackers or a sale of inquiry records. Third-party sites you choose to visit operate under their own policies.
Retention and security
Public content remains available until removed. Private submissions remain stored for follow-up, administration, and recordkeeping; this website does not currently apply an automatic deletion schedule. Access to the admin portal is restricted to the owner account. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit payment credentials, identification documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information through these forms.
Your choices and requests
You may browse without submitting a review or inquiry, select a state manually, and clear locally saved preferences in your browser. Use Contact Us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need information to locate the record and confirm your authority before acting. Requests are considered subject to applicable requirements and legitimate recordkeeping needs.
Children and policy updates
The service is intended for adults arranging moves or representing businesses, and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, use Contact Us to ask for review and removal. We may update this policy when the site or its practices change; the updated date will appear on this page.
